It’s the perfect ecological ventilation for deep, peaceful nights, even in the hottest weather.

They're cool and don't hear any extraneous sound

Over 2000 Williwaw already sold. 5/5 on all reviews

After more than a month’s use, including some very hot nights, the whole family is convinced. It’s really quiet, without compromising on sufficient power to keep cool in the heat.

You can feel the attention to detail: the blue light on the main button that goes out after a few seconds, the spiral grille, the cleats that adjust the oscillation amplitude ideally, and all the app’s functions.
A great product in every respect, and one that made us give up air conditioning.

What a magnificent innovation from the ingenious Stéphane Thirouin, who has created his Williwaw with both design and technology.
A cool breeze in the silence and comfort of its remote-controlled mini thermostat, and in a concern for low energy consumption that we all hold dear. Finally, a child’s memory resurfaces of the well-thought-out, playful assembly of this work of art.

We can only confirm the testimonials of other customers, which we endorse 100%, on all points mentioned. Shape, materials, function… The result is nothing but pleasure: for the eye (the shape), for the touch (the materials), for the body (air, air!), for the ear (“silence, ça tourne”)… Now that’s design!

Catherine (confirmed customer) – August 10, 2022

Purchased for the design, the French conception and the silence. And what silence! What a pleasure not to hear it.

And what a beauty…..finally, an object that is both functional and elegant.

Yes, the price is high… but you get what you pay for… and that’s great.

Romain (confirmed customer) – August 4, 2023

The Williwaw fan we bought at the beginning of summer 2020 is just perfect! Its level of silence is just incredible, you have to see it work to believe it.

The system with the app and sensors also makes it ultra-simple to use. As well as being a beautiful product, it’s also highly functional.

Installation is easy, and customer service is top-notch!

Alban (confirmed customer) – September 10, 2020

It’s the third one I’ve bought. We have one for each bedroom, and we no longer have to worry about the heatwave at night.
Not a sound and a breeze that feels good!
We would never have invested in an air-conditioner for ecological reasons, but this product convinced us. It’s an investment, but well worth it, especially as it also runs in winter in the living room with mezzanine, tempering the room. And he’s so handsome!

How do you achieve such noise levels?

The Williwaw’s 9-blade propeller generates two to three times less noise than its rivals, providing a quiet response on hot nights.

Noise level (to EN60704-2-7) :

  • 33 dB(A) at minimum speed
  • 47 dB(A) at maximum speed

Destratification option for energy savings

Equipped with an adjustable head and external temperature sensors, it guarantees gentle, inaudible convection, automatically activated when there is a noticeable difference in temperature between floor and ceiling.

This translates into a 30% reduction in heating costs in the space occupied by the Williwaw.

Control airflow remotely

Its remote control? Your phone.

The Williwaw, adjustable to your preferences, offers a variety of airflows, from light breeze to strong wind. With variable oscillation from 45 to 270 degrees and three speeds, it offers a fully customizable experience.

This intelligent destratifying fan is controlled via a dedicated mobile app, compatible with iOS and Android.

Its wide, slow, soft and enveloping airflow can be adjusted remotely, for optimum comfort without discomfort – goodbye to flying papers!

It doesn't make a sound, and it lasts.

Made from steel, beech and polycarbonate, and assembled exclusively with screws, Williwaw promises remarkable longevity.

All parts can be replaced, the propeller is detachable and dishwasher-safe, and a 10-year warranty covers mechanical components.

Also ideal for corporate use

By regulating temperature, Williwaw eliminates excessively hot or cold zones, increasing comfort in open spaces, conference rooms and offices.

Even at full throttle, its powerful engine won’t be a hindrance to occupants who need to concentrate. They can simply enjoy the pleasant ambient air.

The guarantee: unprecedented

  • 10-year warranty on mechanical components;
  • a 2-year warranty on all electronics.

How is this possible? It’s all in the design and choice of materials.

  • Polycarbonate (used for bulletproof glass) for its plastic parts;
  • metal ;
  • beech ;
  • screw assembly.

What’s more, in the event of a breakdown, the electronic board can be replaced at cost price, thanks to a connector system that avoids the need for soldering, thus facilitating repairs.

An innovative French creation

I’m Stéphane Thirouin, a designer with a passion for creating objects that are useful, durable and aesthetically pleasing.

Faced with a sweltering heatwave, determined to avoid air conditioning for ecological reasons and dissatisfied with the performance of existing fans, I decided to design the Williwaw, a fan that’s quiet, powerful, energy-efficient and durable.

Williwaw's assembly session is a piece of cake

Assembly is quick, requiring just a few minutes.

Summary of assembly steps :

  1. Open the box and organize the elements: triangular piece, cable spool, recycled paper shell, weights, elastomer base, wooden base pieces, white cylinder with orange rings and cable blocker.
  2. Lay out 1 meter of cable, pass it through the weight, through the orange ring, then through the wooden base piece to the weight.
  3. Insert the cable into the white cylinder and the other wooden base pieces, making sure they are correctly drilled.
  4. Connect the cable to the socket at the bottom of the base and add the other pieces of wooden base, align and tighten with the orange rings.
  5. Assemble the pivot, fit the orange rings and build the wooden structure, aligning the notches and ribs of the rings.
  6. Place the orange stiffeners along the cable and into the wooden base pieces until halfway along.
  7. Finish by fitting the triangular piece, additional weights and elastomer base. Download the Williwaw application and recycle the packaging.

Your Williwaw is ready to be used again, with complete peace of mind!
According to UFC Que Choisir, some fans offer a “night” or “silence” option: this simply corresponds to the lowest speed and can reach a noise level of around 40-45 dB(A). Despite being the most powerful fan, the Williwaw night option is only 33 dB(A) and 47dB(A) at maximum speed.
The choice of air flow rate for a silent fan depends primarily on the size of the room to be cooled and the desired cooling intensity. In general, an air flow rate measured in cubic meters per hour (m³/h) that corresponds to at least 3 to 5 times the volume of the room ensures effective cooling. The Williwaw in turbo mode can cover up to 170m2 (8.5 meters of distance over 270° of rotation).
No, it depends on the specific design of the fan and the technology used. Column fans can be designed to be particularly quiet, while still providing good air circulation thanks to their elongated shape and operating mode, which distributes air vertically. However, the sound level is mainly influenced by :
  1. than engine quality,
  2. the number of blades.
In addition, we can mention the use of noise reduction technologies and speed settings. Some column fans may indeed be quieter than other types, but a fan with many blades and a top-of-the-range motor will be even quieter.
Without going into the details of blade orientation and size, the volume of air moved increases with the number of blades. As a result, to move the same volume of air, the motor of a 3-blade fan will have to turn about 3 times harder than that of a 9-blade fan, generating much more vibration and therefore noise pollution.
