What is Williwaw?

The Williwaw is the first silent, intelligent, durable and elegant floor-standing fan. Thanks to its 9-blade propeller, it’s the quietest fan on the market. It generates a wide, even airflow. Intelligent, connected to temperature sensors, it’s the very first fan that turns on automatically when the temperature detected exceeds the temperature you set in the app, and turns off when the temperature drops below it. This makes it a 4-season fan: it reduces energy consumption in winter and provides silent cooling for cool nights.

You can set up your Williwaw both on the app and directly using its buttons. The central button lets you switch it on or off with a single press. By turning the knob on this same button, you can set its ventilation speed to 15 different speeds. Its oscillation can be adjusted from 45° to 270°, at 3 speeds, using small sliding handles. Finally, the orientation of its head is also adjustable, enabling you to switch from summer to winter mode.

Otherwise, everything is explained in the following video:

Start by downloading the “Williwaw Fan” app from the App store and Google Play store. Plug in your Williwaw and launch the app. Bring your smartphone close to your Williwaw. You’re connected!

You can also use the following procedure:

  • Disassembly of the propeller is straightforward – all you need is a coin. First of all, check that your Williwaw is unplugged, then tilt its head to the horizontal position. Take the coin and insert it into the notches on the sides of the head. Press down and turn each notch a quarter turn to unlock the grille. Then use the coin in the notch at the top to lever out the grille. Unscrew the orange piece (counter-clockwise) and remove the washer (and don’t lose it!). Now you can remove the propeller and wash it in the dishwasher!
  • To reassemble the propeller, repeat the process in reverse. Put the propeller back on its axis. Then reposition the washer. Be careful to place the cone downwards. Then screw in the orange part (clockwise). You can now replace the grille. It has a male catch at the bottom. Insert it into the female notch on the Williwaw head to replace the grille. Once the grille is back in place, you can check that it’s straight and that it’s fitted with your part. Check that the grille is correctly aligned before closing the lock. And that’s it!

Unfortunately, the Williwaw is not made in France. So far I haven’t found a way to produce in France without doubling the investment and the selling price. Certain crafts, such as spiral grids, have even disappeared from our beautiful country… What’s more, for every Williwaw sold, almost 60% of the tax goes to the French state. On the other hand, if my volumes were multiplied by 50, I could set up an automatic line that would enable me to produce Made in France at a cost equivalent to Made in China.

The Williwaw packaging has been thought through to the last detail. Each piece has its own space. It has been designed with Eco-consciousness in mind: 0% adhesive tape, 0% plastic, 0% ink, 100% recycled, recyclable and compostable. It’s elegantly packaged in a zero-waste fabric bag that doubles as a Laundry Bag. Finally, the label is ink-free and the packaging is closed with a 100% cotton ribbon, making it easy to recycle.
The Williwaw is available in selected Fnac and Darty stores. Check out their websites to find the store nearest you.

You’ll find all the answers in the user manual.

The price of Williwaw is quality. First and foremost, the raw materials used are of the highest quality: machined or cut steel, beechwood and polycarbonate base, resistant to mechanical stress and UV rays. What’s more, it’s equipped with state-of-the-art electronics: brushless motor, brushless gearmotor, Bluetooth and 300V power supply. Finally, the 10-year warranty offered on the Williwaw comes with its own constraints. The Williwaw is 100% repairable, as it is assembled using only screws, without gluing. Made up of 260 parts (including screws), assembly requires 1h30 of painstaking work.

The Williwaw is unlike any other fan on the market: quiet, intelligent, durable and elegant. Its propeller has 9 blades, as opposed to the usual 3. It distributes a wide, even flow of air in complete silence. Equipped with remote sensors, it switches on and off automatically, so you don’t even have to worry about it. What’s more, its elegant design makes it an integral part of your decor. Its 4-season mode lets you use it all year round, saving 37% on heating. It’s easy to maintain, and the first to come with a 10-year warranty on its mechanical parts.
