What is Williwaw?

Williwaw is the first silent, smart, sustainable, and elegant pedestal fan. Thanks to its 9-blade propeller, it is the quietest on the market, generating a wide and consistent airflow. Smart and connected to temperature sensors, it is the very first fan that turns on automatically when the detected temperature exceeds your predefined setting in the app, and shuts off once it drops below. This makes it a true 4-season solution: reducing energy consumption in winter and providing silent cooling for refreshing nights.

How do I adjust my fan?

You can adjust your Williwaw via the app or directly using the on-device buttons. The center button allows you to power it on or off with a simple press. By rotating the dial on this same button, you can select from 15 different fan speeds. Oscillation is adjustable from 45° to 270° across 3 speeds using the sliding handles. Finally, the head orientation is also adjustable, allowing you to switch between summer and winter modes.

How do I connect my Williwaw to the app?

Start by downloading the “Williwaw Fan” app, available on the App Store and Google Play Store. Plug in your Williwaw and launch the app. Bring your smartphone close to your Williwaw, and you’re connected!

How do I remove the propeller?

You can also follow these steps:

Removing the propeller is simple; you will only need a coin. First, ensure your Williwaw is unplugged, then tilt the head to a horizontal position. Insert the coin into the slots on the sides of the head. Press and turn a quarter-turn in each slot to unlock the grille. Then, use the coin in the top slot as a lever to remove the grille. Unscrew the orange part (counter-clockwise) and remove the washer (be careful not to lose it!). You can now remove the propeller to wash it in the dishwasher!
To reassemble the propeller, simply reverse the process. Place the propeller back on its axis and reposition the washer, making sure the cone faces downward. Then, screw the orange part back in (clockwise). You can now replace the grille. It has a male tab at the bottom; insert this into the female slot on the Williwaw head to set the grille in place. Once the grille is positioned, ensure it is straight and secure it with your coin. Verify that the grille is properly aligned before closing the lock. And you’re done!

Why is Williwaw manufactured in China?

Unfortunately, Williwaw is not made in France. To date, I have not found a way to produce it domestically without doubling both the investment and the retail price. Certain artisanal skills, such as the creation of spiral grilles, have completely disappeared from our country. Additionally, for every Williwaw sold, nearly 60% in taxes go back to the French state. However, if my volumes were to increase fifty-fold, I could set up an automated line that would allow for French production at a cost equivalent to that of China.

Why is the Williwaw packaging so simple?

The Williwaw packaging has been designed down to the smallest detail, with a dedicated spot for every part. It was developed with an eco-conscious approach: 0% adhesive tape, 0% plastic, 0% ink, and 100% recycled, recyclable, and compostable. It is elegantly packed in a “zero-waste” fabric bag that doubles as a laundry bag. Finally, the label is ink-free and the packaging is closed with a 100% cotton ribbon to facilitate easy recycling.

Why is Williwaw priced at this level?

The price of Williwaw reflects its quality. First, we use premium raw materials: machined or cut steel, a beechwood base, and polycarbonate that is resistant to both mechanical stress and UV rays. Furthermore, it features latest-generation electronics: a brushless motor, a brushless gear motor, Bluetooth, and a 300V power supply. Finally, the 10-year warranty offered on the Williwaw comes with its own requirements. Williwaw is 100% repairable because it is assembled exclusively with screws, without any adhesives. Consisting of 260 parts (screws included), its assembly requires 1.5 hours of meticulous craftsmanship.

How does Williwaw differ from a conventional fan?

Williwaw is incomparable to standard fans; it is silent, intelligent, durable, and elegant. While most fans have 3 blades, ours has 9, allowing it to distribute a wide and homogeneous airflow in near-total silence.
