They chose power without compromising on peace and quiet

Over 2,000 Williwaw fans sold. 5/5 stars across all reviews.

Three years after my first Williwaw (to cool the attic bedroom), I’m doing it again (for the living area) as the heatwaves approach. Silent, effective, beautiful… and repairable if ever needed. Only the price gives pause (up 20% since 2020, like many things), but when compared to other solutions like AC, the choice is clear. A video explains assembly perfectly (15 minutes). As a side note, the customer service was remarkable—the creator of the device called me himself to answer my question directly…

Neil (Verified Customer) – July 10, 2023

Bought in 2020, this fan is excellent, if not better. Its primary quality is the silence; its other primary quality is a truly refreshing breeze. Qualities I particularly appreciated during all those heatwave nights. Finally, remarkable after-sales service. A minor fault, a message left on the Williwaw site, and an immediate response. Mr. Thirouin came out himself and the repair was done in a blink and free of charge, 3 years after purchase! I recommend it without reservation.

BAZIN (Verified Customer) – September 12, 2022

I received mine last Thursday and I already can’t live without it!
Turning it on is the first thing I do when I get home, whether it’s hot or not. Silent and powerful, it adds a touch of comfort to my interior.

Julien C (Verified Customer) – June 17, 2019

Received yesterday. Assembled in 10 minutes (it would have been even faster if I’d actually watched the video…) Otherwise, a beautiful product, truly powerful and silent.

You can feel the attention to detail throughout, which is a real pleasure…

Nicolas M (verified customer) – June 8, 2019

After more than a month of use, including several very hot nights, the whole family is convinced.

It is truly silent without compromising on the power needed to cool down during heatwaves.

Arnaud J (verified customer) – September 30, 2020

Ordered the fan right after visiting the Paris Fair. Ultra-fast shipping and very simple assembly following the videos.

My daughters were very skeptical about my purchase, and now they ask me to set up the fan to cool their bedrooms for the night. I’m even thinking about investing in another one for the upper floor next year. I have no regrets about my purchase, except maybe for not buying two!

Suhard (verified customer) – August 4, 2022

This is the third one I’ve bought. We have one in every bedroom and we no longer face heatwaves with the same dread at night.
Zero noise and a breeze that feels so good!
We would never have invested in air conditioning due to ecological concerns, but this product won us over. It is an investment, but well worth it, especially since it also runs in the winter in the living room with the mezzanine to balance the room temperature. Plus, it’s so beautiful!

Carole LASSALLE (verified customer) – July 6, 2022

Powerful, yet efficient and durable

Using only 5 watts to cool, compared to 2500 watts for an air conditioner, Williwaw features a powerful and silent motor.

It is the ecological solution for peaceful nights, even during heatwaves.

You won't hear a thing, and that's by design

Williwaw’s 9-blade propeller produces two to three times less noise than its competitors, providing a peaceful solution for sweltering nights.

Noise level (according to EN60704-2-7 standard):

  • 33 dB(A) at minimum speed
  • 47 dB(A) at maximum speed

Adjustable power right from your smartphone

Its strengths? Connected, stylish, and comfortable.

Its remote? Your smartphone.

Williwaw adjusts to your needs, from a gentle breeze to a strong wind. With an oscillation range from 45 to 270 degrees and 3 speeds, it ensures a tailor-made experience.

Controlled via a mobile app for iOS and Android, Williwaw is a smart destratifier fan.

Adjust its wide, slow airflow remotely for optimal comfort without the mess—no more flying papers!

Automatic, high-performance ventilation and destratification

Equipped with an adjustable head and external temperature sensors, it ensures gentle and silent convection, automatically activated when there is a significant temperature difference between the floor and the ceiling.

This results in a 30% reduction in heating costs within the space occupied by Williwaw.

How does it work?

Williwaw’s temperature sensors detect heat differences between the floor and ceiling. When a gap is identified, it creates convection to balance the temperature.

This improves comfort and reduces energy consumption by allowing the heating to turn off more frequently. Control and programming are easily managed via the mobile app.

Built to last

Crafted from steel, beech wood, and polycarbonate (the same material used in bulletproof glass), and assembled with screws, Williwaw is engineered for longevity.

Every part is replaceable, the blade is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning, and the mechanical components are backed by a 10-year warranty.

Cool even the largest offices

By balancing the temperature, Williwaw eliminates hot or cold spots, enhancing comfort in open spaces, meeting rooms, or offices.

Even at low speeds, it provides a refreshing breeze without blowing papers around.

10-year warranty!

Durable in the truest sense. By choosing polycarbonate—the material used for bulletproof glass—for its plastic parts, along with metal and beech wood, and opting for a screw-based assembly, Williwaw features:

  • a 10-year warranty on mechanical components;
  • a 2-year warranty on electronics.

Furthermore, in the event of a failure, the circuit board can be replaced at cost price. Thanks to a connector-based system that eliminates soldering, repairs are simple and efficient.

Assembling your Williwaw is a breeze

Destratifiers like Williwaw optimize heating by redistributing warm air from the ceiling down to the floor, reducing the load on your heating system.

For a space with an annual heating bill of €1,500, the absence of a destratifier leads to uneven air distribution, with heat trapped at the top and cold air at the bottom.

Using Williwaw mixes the air, limiting the need to overheat. This leads to 30% savings, lowering the bill to €1,050—a reduction of €450 per year. Factoring in Williwaw’s power consumption, the net saving is €430.

The benefits extend to summer as well; Williwaw eliminates the need for energy-hungry air conditioning, offering annual savings thanks to its low power consumption.

Here is an overview of the savings achieved with Williwaw to cool a 40m² space with a 4m ceiling height.

An air circulator, a destratifier, and a fan all aim to improve thermal comfort but differ in how they operate and are used.

A fan creates a directed airflow toward a specific area, providing an immediate cooling sensation on the skin through sweat evaporation. It is ideal for targeted, personal cooling.

Air circulators are often used in industrial settings. Their goal is to mix the air in an entire room, promoting uniform temperature and air distribution. They can reduce temperature gaps in a space, making it more comfortable overall.

An air circulator is designed to move large volumes of air through a room or open space, creating a fresh breeze that improves the feeling of comfort without necessarily lowering the ambient temperature. It is ideal for ventilating and cooling large areas due to its ability to circulate air efficiently.

With its ability to move large volumes of air, an air circulator is often used in larger spaces or for industrial applications, while a fan is better suited for home or office use.

A destratifier, on the other hand, aims to homogenize the temperature in a space by redistributing the warm air accumulated near the ceiling toward the floor, thus reducing the temperature differences between stratified air layers. This not only improves thermal comfort but also generates energy savings, particularly in heated spaces, as it reduces the need for additional heating.

Assembly is quick and only takes a few minutes. Here is a simplified guide:
  1. Unpack and prepare the parts: triangle, cable reel, recycled paper shell, ballast, elastomer base, wooden legs, white cylinder, orange rings, and cable blocker.
  2. Unroll 1 meter of cable, pass it through the ballast, the orange ring, and then through a wooden leg segment up to the ballast.
  3. Pass the cable through the white cylinder and add the wooden leg segments, ensuring they are aligned.
  4. Plug the cable into the socket at the bottom of the mounting well and add the remaining leg segments, aligning and tightening the orange rings.
  5. Mount the pivot, adjust the orange rings, and assemble the wooden structure, aligning the grooves and ribs.
  6. Place the orange stiffeners under the cable and into the leg segments, up to the central stop.
  7. Finish by installing the triangular shelf, additional weights, and the elastomer base. Download the Williwaw app and recycle the packaging.

  1. Turn off and unplug the Williwaw, then position its head horizontally.
  2. Using a coin, press and turn the lock to unlock the grille. Tap lightly to release it from its housing.
  3. Pivot the grille upward to remove it from the notch at the top of the head, then take it off.
  4. Unscrew the orange element clockwise to remove the washer and the blade.
  5. The blade and grilles are dishwasher-safe.
  6. After cleaning, replace the blade with the cone washer facing down.
  7. Screw the orange element back on counter-clockwise, then put the grille back in place, starting from the bottom to insert it into its notch.
  8. Ensure the grille is securely attached. Using a coin, lock the grille by turning the lock.

Position the Williwaw fan strategically to optimize air circulation throughout the room.

For optimal comfort, ideally place it away from walls to allow air to flow freely.

In summer, orient it to create a direct cool breeze toward living areas. For heat distribution in winter, set it to destratification mode near a heat source to circulate the warm air accumulated at the ceiling.

Placement may vary depending on the season and your space’s layout.

Choosing the ideal fan involves considering several criteria, including power, noise level, and additional features like timers or oscillation.

Compared to others on the market (such as Dyson, Rowenta, and Honeywell), Williwaw stands out for its quiet operation, aesthetics, and power.

For effective cooling, check the airflow rate and variable speed settings. The price reflects the technology, features, and durability of the product.

Silent fans are perfect for working or sleeping undisturbed, with models adjustable in height or orientation ensuring absolute comfort.

The number of Williwaw fans required per room varies based on the dimensions of the space, ceiling height, and the device’s efficiency.

Thanks to its high power, a standard home or office room only needs one properly sized Williwaw to evenly distribute hot or cold air.

For large spaces or those with complex layouts, installing multiple units may be necessary to achieve peak efficiency.

To avoid using air conditioning and cool a space, set the Williwaw to its summer configuration to generate a breeze that promotes skin evaporation, thereby reducing the sensation of heat. It is also recommended to open windows during the coolest times of the day or night to let fresh air in, and to use curtains or blinds to block out sunlight, helping to lower the ambient temperature naturally.
