Over 2000 Williwaw already sold. 5/5 on all reviews
Three years after the first Williwaw (to cool down the attic bedroom), we’re doing it again (living room) as the hot weather approaches. Quiet, efficient, attractive…and repairable if ever needed—the only thing that gives pause is the price (up 20% since 2020, like so many things). But when you compare it to other solutions (an air conditioner, for example), the math is easy. For installation, a video explains everything (15 minutes). And as a side note, regarding customer service, my first interaction was remarkable—the device’s creator called me directly to answer my question…

Purchased in 2020, this fan is excellent, if not better. Its standout feature is its quiet operation, and another key feature is its truly refreshing breeze. These qualities are especially appreciated during those hot summer nights. Finally, the customer service is outstanding. A minor malfunction—I left a message on the Williwaw website and received an immediate response. Mr. Thirouin came out personally, and the repair was done in a flash and at no cost, three years after purchase! I recommend it without reservation.

We can only confirm the testimonials of other customers, which we endorse 100%, on all points mentioned. Shape, materials, function… The result is nothing but pleasure: for the eye (the shape), for the touch (the materials), for the body (air, air!), for the ear (“silence, ça tourne”)… Now that’s design!

I bought it for its design, its French craftsmanship, and how quiet it is.
And it really is quiet! It’s such a pleasure not to hear it.
And it’s so beautiful… finally, an object that’s both functional and elegant.
Yes, the price is high… but you get what you pay for… and that’s great.

We ordered the fan right after visiting the Paris trade show; shipping was super fast, and installation was very easy by following the videos.
My daughters were very skeptical about my purchase, but now they’re asking me to set up the fan to cool down their rooms at night. I’m even thinking of investing in one for the upstairs next year. I have absolutely no regrets about my purchase—except maybe that I didn’t buy two of them!!!

This is the third one I’ve bought. We have one in every bedroom, and we no longer dread the heat waves at night.
It’s completely silent and provides a refreshing breeze!
We would never have invested in an air conditioner out of environmental concerns, but this product won us over. It’s an investment, but one that’s well worth it—especially since it also runs in the winter in the living room with a loft and helps regulate the room’s temperature. And he’s so handsome!

The Williwaw’s 9-blade propeller produces two to three times less noise than its competitors, offering a peaceful solution to scorching nights.
Noise level (to EN60704-2-7) :
With a power consumption of just 5 watts to cool a room, in stark contrast to the 2500 watts consumed by a conventional air conditioner. In short, a motor that’s both powerful and extremely quiet.
Williwaw is the ideal ecological destratification solution for peaceful nights, even in the middle of a heatwave.
Its remote control? Your smartphone.
The Williwaw is designed to adapt to your needs, offering a range of ventilation from the lightest breeze to a powerful blast. Its oscillation, adjustable from 45 to 270 degrees over three speeds, allows total customization of the user experience.
Intelligent, the Williwaw is a destratifying fan that can be controlled via a dedicated smartphone app. Available for iOS and Android.
You can remotely adjust its slow, wide airflow, which is both gentle and all-encompassing, guaranteeing an undisturbed feeling of well-being – no more papers flying away!
The Williwaw’s remote white temperature sensors detect temperature differences between floor and ceiling.
If a discrepancy appears, the Williwaw will attempt to harmonize the temperature by creating vertical convection.
So we’ll :
All easily controlled and programmable via a smartphone app.
Made from steel, beech and polycarbonate, and assembled using only screws, Williwaw is built to last.
Every part is replaceable, the propeller is removable and dishwasher-safe, and the mechanical components come with a 10-year warranty.
The Williwaw destratifying fan is the only credible alternative to air conditioning , considerably reducing your electricity consumption and avoiding costly installations.
By opting for polycarbonate, a material used in bulletproof glass, for almost all of its plastic components, as well as for formed or machined metal and beech, and by favoring exclusively screwed assembly, this design approach gives the Williwaw :
Note: repair at cost price of the faulty board by simple exchange, since the links are made by connectors and not by soldering.
2 possible heights to be selected prior to assembly depending on the number of foot segments
But what else?
Assembly without clipping, gluing or welding. 115 screws ensure robustness and total repairability.
A Williwaw projects its air stream up to 8m50 away, and sweeps up to 270 degrees. It covers an area of 170 m2
I’m Stéphane Thirouin, a designer with a passion for creating objects that are useful, durable and aesthetically pleasing.
Faced with a sweltering heatwave, determined to avoid air conditioning for ecological reasons and dissatisfied with the performance of existing fans, I decided to design the Williwaw, a fan that’s quiet, powerful, energy-efficient and durable.
Editing Williwaw is a breeze

Usually, a destratifier should be installed on the ceiling, in the center of the room or in a strategic location where air stratification is most important.
As the Williwaw is a fan AND destratifier, all you have to do is point it towards the ceiling to enjoy its effects.
Note that the Williwa also works for living spaces with very high ceilings. If you opt for conventional ceiling-mounted models, you’ll need to choose one fitted with an extension rod that can be used to adjust the height of the destratifier, optimizing its efficiency according to ceiling height and ensuring better air circulation throughout the area.
The Williwaw can be placed at the bottom or top, the important thing being to position it on the “circuit” that the airflow will make to push the warm air that accumulates on the ceiling down the walls.
